Woodstock Police briefs include a threat investigation at the Dundas Street business, a car theft at a Dundas Street gas station, an impaired driver on Norwich Ave and a tire slashing incident on Blossom Park Road.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police had to call in the Canine Unit while responding to a report of a threat to a Dundas Street business.
The call came in at around 6:00 p.m. on Monday and officers were able to search and clear the building.
The Criminal Investigations Branch is still investigating the matter and officials would like to thank the Oxford OPP, the London Police Service, the Woodstock Fire Department, the Woodstock Board of Works and Hydro One for their assistance so far.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service is investigating an incident at a convenience store on Mill Street.
Officers say a man entered the store and demanded cash at around 8:40 p.m. on Friday. The clerk denied him, so the man left the store and he was last seen heading west on Sixth Ave in a dark coloured sedan.
He is described as a white man and he's believed to be about 20-years-old. He was also wearing a dark coat, blue jeans, black shoes, a dark toque, a medical-style mask, and black sunglasses with red arms.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have released surveillance photos from a local gas station after a car was stolen on Boxing Day.
The owner of the white, 2018 Nissan Sentra stopped for gas on Dundas Street at around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Officers say the culprit jumped in the vehicle and took off when the owner went into the store to pay. They were last spotted heading east.
The male suspect was wearing a black jacket, grey pants, black boots, a black ball cap, and a facemask. He was also carrying a red bag at the time.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have released a picture of a man who could be connected to a theft from a vehicle on Bay Street.
A wallet was taken from a 2016 Ford Focus at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Police say their suspect was spotted in a convenience store afterward, trying to buy something with the stolen credit cards.

WOODSTOCK - A 48-year-old from Beamsville is facing impaired driving charges in the Friendly City.
Woodstock Police responded to an impaired driving report in a parking lot on Norwich Ave at around 9:20 p.m. on Monday. Witnesses called police when a heavily damaged vehicle pulled in the parking lot and a man who appeared to be drunk got out of the drivers seat.
After his arrest, officers discovered that the man had been involved in a crash while he was getting off the 401.
He has been charged with impaired driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are looking for witnesses after someone had their tires slashed on Blossom Park Road.
The car is a grey Honda Civic in the 2006 model year and police believe the two front tires were slashed while it was parked at a residential complex sometime between 4:00 p.m. and midnight on Monday.
