Woodstock Police briefs include a stolen pickup truck, a couple of vehicle break-ins, and a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Nellis Street.
WOODSTOCK - A 78-year-old was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle.
The Woodstock Police joined Oxford EMS Friday evening at the area of Nellis Street between Clarke Street and Springbank Avenue for reports of a collision between a vehicle and a 78-year-old pedestrian.
There is no update on the pedestrian's health at the current time.
The road was closed for several hours on Friday to conduct a traffic reconstruction investigation, however the full investigation is still ongoing at this time.

WOODSTOCK - A pickup truck has been reported stolen in Woodstock.
The Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a stolen vehicle sometime between 7:30 p.m. Sunday night and 8:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The vehicle was described as a 2005 grey GMC Sierra and it was last seen parked in a parking lot on Ferguson Drive.

WOODSTOCK - Appliances were stolen from a home on Athlone Avenue.
The Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a break and enter at around 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
When they arrived at the model home, they learned that the unknown suspects stole a stainless steel KitchenAid fridge and stove, two vanities, and a gas heater.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service is also investigating a copper wire theft from a hydro pole.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, there were reports of about 10 feet of copper wire being stolen from a hydro pole on Drew Street near Delatre Street.
The Woodstock Police also found that there was damage to the covering protecting the wire.

WOODSTOCK - Vehicles were entered on a property at the Upper Thames Conservation Area.
On Saturday at around 10:00 a.m, a company vehicle was observed abandoned in the area of the park entrance.
An alarm was heard coming from the compound on the property, and the lock on the compound gate was found broken, as well as a damaged garage door and another vehicle entered.
