Briefs include a 20 year old woman from Woodstock accused of pulling a knife on someone at a downtown patio, two men facing assault charges after getting into a fight and mischief charges for a 43 year old woman on Norwich Ave.
WOODSTOCK - Police have charged a women after an incident involving a knife at a local downtown restaurant.
Police got the call on Friday. The investigation revealed that the man was sitting at an outdoor patio when he was confronted by a group of people, when one woman pulled out a knife and threatened the man.
Luckily there were no injuries, however, 20 year old Brooke Vasiloff has been charged with:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Assault with a Weapon
- Breach of release order
Vasiloff was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

WOODSTOCK - An escalated argument has resulted in two men receiving charges.
Around 5:30 p.m., Monday, police arrested the men after receiving calls about them arguing in a Dundas Street apartment. Police say the men are known to each other.
A 57 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with two counts of Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The second man, a 36 year old has been charged with Mischief, Assault with a Weapon, and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

WOODSTOCK - A woman from Woodstock is facing charges of Mischief after damaging a vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Norwich Ave.
Police say the owner of the vehicle was following behind two women, when one of them approached the car and smashed the passenger door. The woman and the owner of the vehicle know each other.
A 43 year-old Woodstock woman has been charged with Mischief Under $5000.00. Damage estimated at $500.00.
