Two Woodstock skiers are seeing success at the Canadian Cross Country Championships at Whistler. Mary Thompson along with her partner Erin Tribe of Barrie, skiing for Team Hardwood, won the silver medal in the Club Team Sprints Open Women's event Her brother Bob Thompson and his partner Jordan Cascagnette of Penetang placed 7th in the Open Men's event out of 38 teams. There are four more individual events this week culminating with the 30 km for women and 50 km race next Saturday. Both Bob and Mary are graduates of the WCI where they both skied and coached the cross country ski teams.
