There will be a free showing of the new X-Men movie at Gallery Cinemas for youth ages 13 to 21 living in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Youth Advisory Committee has put together a free, fun morning out at the movies.
Youth Advisory Committee member Tia Johnston says they thought it was high time to put together an event like this.
"The Youth Advisory Committee has been a committee for about 5 years and we've never really planned an event, but this year we worked really hard and decided something needed to be pushed forward so we decided a free movie would probably attract a lot of youth."
Committee member Danielle Reid says the movie they will be showing is X-Men Apocalypse.
"We have a free movie and then there's also free popcorn you get when you come as well."
It's happening at the Gallery Cinema in Woodstock and meant for people between 13 - 21 according to Johnston.
"We have 80 free spots and you have to be there in line to get your ticket. You can't hold a place in line for your friends."
The show is at 9:30am on June 4th.
