World Leaders Respond to London Vehicle Attack

The horrific vehicle attack in London has caught the attention of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and London, England Mayor Sadiq Khan.

LONDON - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has reached out to London Mayor Ed Holder following the horrific vehicle attack.

He says his Government will use every tool it has to combat Islamophobia and it will always be there to help those who are grieving.

London Police say a Muslim family of five were targeted in what's believed to be a hate-motivated attack Sunday night. Four people were killed and a nine-year-old boy remains in hospital.

In another statement on Twitter yesterday, Trudeau says Islamophobia has no place in our communities.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan also issued the following statement on Twitter this morning. He says the attack is condemnable act of terrorism. He also says Islamophobia needs to be counter holistically by the international community.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, England, also addressed the attack on Twitter this morning, saying his city stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Canada.
