The Woodstock Police Service has once again teamed up with the Oxford County OPP for Operation Zero and they're paying close attention to school zones this time around.
OXFORD COUNTY - No matter where you live in Oxford County, you'll notice a heavier police presence in front of local schools.
The Woodstock Police Service has once again joined forces with the Oxford OPP for Operation Zero and this time they're targeting school zones. Officers will be making sure drivers follow the speed limit and pay attention to the no-stopping signs.
Police are also encouraging pedestrians to stay alert, only cross streets at street corners and to listen to local crossing guards.
The Oxford OPP charged two drivers with stunt driving during the first day of school yesterday. One driver was pulled over in front of Innerkip Central School and the other was charged close to Hickson Central Public School.
