Woodstock Councillor Sandra Talbot has been elected in as the Woodstock Police Service Board Chair. "I just want to say thank-you to all of the members of the Police Service for having the confidence in me to assume this role," said Talbot, "I'm very please to take on this role once again and looking forward to the next year working with everyone. The past experience has been very positive. I have very large shoes to fill having Nancy in this position." Talbot was the former Vice Chair. She was also Chair of the Woodstock Police before the changeover to the former Oxford Community Police in 1999. She now replaces Nancy O'Grady as Chair of the Board.
