WPS are asking residents to know the signs of an overdose to help potentially save a life.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police recently responded to a number of Fentanyl overdoses in the City.
If you suspect that someone is overdosing, call 9-1-1, administer Naloxone, and stay with the person until help arrives. WPS has shared some information on what signs to watch out for in an overdose.
They include slow, weak or no breathing, drowsiness or difficulty staying awake, can't be woken up, choking, gurgling or snoring sounds, blue lips or dizziness.
The Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act provides some legal protection for anyone who seeks help during an overdose.
Police say by knowing the signs, you can save a life.
