If you have a passion for writing, the Writer's Cafe is open every week.
WOODSTOCK - The Writer's Cafe is a place for all aspiring writers in Woodstock.
The weekly group sessions go every Wednesday inside CMHA Oxford.
Manager of the Peer Support Program and Education for CMHA Sarah Aalbers says people can learn various styles of writing.
"It's a place where writers can gather. Those that love literature of all kinds, doesn't have to be a specific poetry, news letters, articles it's all types of writing."
The program re-opened inside the CMHA Oxford building late last year.
Since relaunching the program at a new location, Aalbers says it's worked out well.
"It's a group that Eric Schmeedle started in partnership with Operation Sharing and they needed a new home. So before Christmas we started hosting it here and it's been such a good fit for our organization."
The Writer's Cafe focuses on all aspects of writing, including resumes, cover letters and short stories. It is open to the public and it is free to join.
The program is held every Wednesday. The next session is on February 6th and it is free to join.
