An 18 year old from Zorra Township is facing major injuries after a crash at the intersection of Perth Line 26 and Road 111 this morning.
Perth County OPP were called to the crash around 7:15 a.m. today. Police say a Pontiac Sedan was heading south bound on Road 111 when the car crossed directly in front of Kenworth tractor trailer. The impact forced the Pontiac into the north ditch and the tractor trailer jack-knifed and ended up on the south shoulder overhanging the ditch. Kourtney Davis was taken to the hospital by the Ornge Air Ambulance and is suffering from major injuries. The 61 year old driver of the transport truck from East Zorra was not injured in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing and Perth Line 26 between Perth Road 112 and Road 111 is expected to remain closed to traffic until about 3 p.m today.
