Due to the extreme hot and dry weather conditions projected in the forecast, all open-air burning will be prohibited until further notice.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Township of Zorra is placing a burn ban in the town, effective immediately.
Due to the extreme hot and dry weather conditions projected in the forecast, all open-air burning will be prohibited until further notice.
The on-air burning ban will:
- Suspends all existing Burn Permits
- Prohibits all recreational fires except for those for cooking, and
- Applies to the issuance of new Burn Permits.
Fire Services also stated that they will not be approving and controlled burns during this time.
