Zorra Township Council will be hosting three public meetings about a proposed Municipal Centre next month. It would be located in Thamesford and it would house the the Township Office, a child care centre, a fitness facility and community office spaces for rent.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - It looks like the Zorra Township Office could be on the move in the future.
The Township is currently reviewing a proposal to move the Township Office to one of the buildings on the former Maple Leaf Foods property in Thamesford.
The building would be known as the Zorra Municipal Centre and it would also include a child care centre, a fitness facility and a handful of community office spaces for rent.
The Township is going to host three public meetings about this next month. The first will be taking place at the Thamesford District Recreation Centre on Tuesday September 14th and the next one will be happening at the Embro Zorra Community Centre on Tuesday September 21st. The final meeting will be virtual event on Tuesday September 28th. Each meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
