It's Day 7 of United Way Oxford's 12 Days of Giving. The campaign encourages people to give back to the community during the first 12 days of December.
OXFORD - United Way Oxford has launched the 12 Days of Giving to provide ideas for people looking to give back to the community.
The 12 days run until December 12th, and each day offers a different way to get involved in the community, or valuable information about services or education.
Manager of Resource Development Amanda Kreiger gives some examples of what you might see.
"We have ideas to learn more, so we share some of our community conversations that we've done in the past, Seeing is Believing tours and that kind of stuff because they're more about the community. We do sharing, so we offer ideas to get involved. Something like, if you have time, look at Big Brothers Big Sisters to be a mentor."
It's the second time United Way Oxford has partnered with Maglin Site Furniture for this initiative and you can find what they've come up with for each day here.
