Five young adults on bicycles were chased with a tractor after intentionally damaging the tractor operator's car.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY - The Middlesex OPP charged six people after a report of a disturbance.
At around 11:00 A.M. yesterday, police were dispatched to Nine Mile Road near Clarke Road for a report of a disturbance involving a group of cyclists and a tractor operator.
It was determined that the cyclists intentionally damaged a vehicle parked in the area.
The tractor operator was the owner of the vehicle and pursued the cyclists in the tractor, nearly hitting some of them.
The operator then left the tractor and chased them with a stick.
As a result, the 62-year-old operator was charged with assault with a weapon and dangerous operation, and the young adult cyclists were all charged with Mischief over $5000.
