There's still time to purchase tickets for Gems and Java on April 13th and 14th.
WOODSTOCK - Tickets are moving fast for the 7th annual Gems and Java fundraiser.
Proceeds from the event will go to support Mother's with a Heart for Ethiopia and it will take place on April 13th and 14th this year.
Those who attend will be able to check out the Bags and Bobbles Boutique, bid in a silent auction and enjoy an Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
Founder Shelley Green says you'll also be able to learn more about their projects overseas.
"One of them is surgeries for woman who are suffering with a prolapsed uterus. We have just funded our 135th surgery which would absolutely not be possible without the funds that are generated from our Gems and Java event."
Green says they have received a positive response from previous attendees.
"You're going to feel that you are doing something good. It's a meaningful event that you will leave feeling like you have made a choice to make a difference in someone's life."
It will take place between 7pm and 10pm on the Friday evening and between 1:30pm and 4:30pm on the Saturday afternoon.
Tickets cost $45 a person or $360 for a table of eight. You can purchase them online or at Merrifield Book Shop in Woodstock.
