Girl Guides of Canada has confirmed that a number of their members were involved in the crash that killed an 8 year old and injured 10 people ranging in age from 6-60.
LONDON - An 8 year old girl has died following the horrific collision in London last night involving two vehicles and multiple pedestrians.
An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid at this time. The 76 year old woman behind the wheel remained at the scene of the collision. She was not injured. Ten pedestrians were injured in the collision, ranging in age from 6 to 60. Police says the driver was heading Westbound at Wonderland Road when she hit another vehicle stopped at the red light, continued through the intersection, hitting a light standard, tree and then the pedestrians.
