An investigation started in August has resulted in three people being arrested on Friday and charged.
WOODSTOCK - Three people are facing drug-related charges.
The charges stem from an investigation started last month by the Woodstock Police Service Drug Enforcement and Criminal Intelligence Unit.
On Friday, the Unit made arrests of a 22-year-old man from Toronto, a 36-year-old woman from Ingersoll, and a 22-year-old woman from Mississauga. All three are facing charges of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and trafficking fentanyl, while the Toronto man is also facing one count of possession of property obtained by crime over 5-thousand dollars.
During the investigation, $13,000 worth of fentanyl was seized, as well as $6,820 in cash.
