A new sculpture will be coming to Woodstock, and the contest is down to the final four designs.
WOODSTOCK - It is down to 3 artist teams and 1 solo artist for a sculpture contest.
Artists from across the province were invited to apply for the opportunity to build a sculpture that would be put in the Bruce Flowers Sculpture Garden in Florence Carlyle Park. The final 4 will have their designs on display at the Woodstock Art Gallery starting tomorrow.
Residents can give feedback via an online survey until May 30th at 11:59 p.m. The Public Art Committee will review the feedback and make the ultimate decision as to who the winner will be.
Once the winner is chosen they will receive $75,000 to complete their sculpture. The final four include Michelle Cieloszczyk and Holly Jo, Marlene Hilton Moore, Duane and Urszula Kumala-Thomas, and Amy McIntosh and Petra Matar.
You can see all the designs online and access the survey as well.
