The McDonald's locations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, London, St. Thomas, Dorchester, and Aylmer raised $115,000 combined.
SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO - A local McDonald's franchisee had one of top 10 McHappy Day fundraisers in the province.
Gord MacLeod owns the locations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, London, St. Thomas, Dorchester, and Aylmer. They raised $115,000 combined on Thursday May 8th, with all of the proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Southwestern Ontario.
That money will help support the Ronald McDonald House in Windsor, the Ronald McDonald House in London and the Ronald McDonald House Family Room in the London Children's Hospital.
McDonald's Canada raised $11.3 million nationwide, donating a portion of the proceeds from all items sold to RMHC locations across the country.
It’s time to celebrate all the good you did on McHappy Day! Thank you for helping countless families with sick children stay together, at RMHC across Canada. pic.twitter.com/LieRSfacYH
