A Tillsonburg Business Targeted with Spray-Paint

A business in Tillsonburg has been vandalized. The Oxford OPP are investigating the mischief case as the business on Bridge Street has their property spray-painted.

TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are investigating what is being called an act of hate.

Around 8:55 a.m. on Monday, July 31st the Oxford detachment received a report of mischief at a Tillsonburg business located on Bridge Street.

Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown person or people went and spray-painted graffiti on the business' property at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Sunday, July 30th.

It was further determined that the crosswalk at the intersection of Bridge Street and Broadway Street was also spray-painted.

Officers are now reviewing security footage from around the area in order to determine who could be behind this crime.

The OPP does not tolerate or condone acts of hate against a person or property based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, colour, religion or religious dress, sex, age, mental or physical disability, or sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
