The Tillsonburg and Area Optimist Club will be hosting their popular Zombie Adventure in Memorial Park this Saturday.
TILLSONBURG - The Tillsonburg and Area Optimist Club is bringing back their popular Zombie Adventure.
The annual fundraiser managed to bring in $1,000 last year, which went towards youth activities in the Tillsonburg Community.
Optimist Member Lindsay Munro tells Heart FM the fun will begin at 2pm this Saturday in Memorial Park.
"The participants will head out on a zombie filled trail where they will have three lives attached to them and it will be their responsibility to try to get to the end of the trail and back with those lives intact."
Munro explains how participants can get more lives.
"We know that the food bank here in town does have lower stock when it hits the fall season so we want to help support that. If a participant does bring a canned or non-perishable food item for the food bank they will get an additional life for out on the trail."
The first zombie heat will take place at 2pm and the last heat will begin at 3:45pm.
Advanced tickets are $20 for an adult, $5 for kids 12 and under or $40 for a family (two adults and two children.) You can purchase those tickets by e-mailing tillsonburgzombieadventure@gmail.com.
If you choose to purchase your tickets the day of it will cost $25 for an adult while the kid's prices remain the same.
You can find more information on the Tillsonburg Zombie Adventure Facebook Page.
