Ontarians over the age of 50 can now receive the COVID-19 booster shot, as long as it has been at least six months since they've received their second dose.
ONTARIO - Starting today, people over the age of 50 will be able to book an appointment for their COVID-19 booster shot, but it must be at least six months since they've received their second dose.
Those living in the Southwestern Public Health region will be able to book their appointment online here. They can also call 1-800-922-0096 with extension 9, anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Select pharmacies will be able to administer the booster shot as well.
All adults over the age of 18 will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 booster in the New Year, starting January 4th.
