Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll is looking to raise 1 million dollars to better the One Chart system.
INGERSOLL - Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll is looking to raise funds.
They have launched a campaign called One Chart Equals One Million. President and CEO of Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Nadia Facca explains what they are trying to do.
"The campaign itself is raising those funds to enhance our electronic health record. The electronic health record within in the hospital is known as One Chart, that's why we've called the campaign in the way we have."
Facca says the One Chart system is a way for patient's information to be in one location. That information can be streamed through hospitals, including TDMH, Woodstock Hospital and several others across the Southwest region. Facca mentions there are boots on the ground promoting the campaign.
"Well, we have a team that's been actively reaching out to members of our community for support. They have been spreading the message regarding One Chart throughout our community."
There has been a donation of $100,000, and if you would like to donate you can visit the Alexandra Hospital website.
