Grade 11 student Anna Belleth just missed out on the top 5 of the CBC Toyota Searchlight competition after beating 2,500 singers and songwriters to make the top 10.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock's own Anna B. just missed out on the top 5 of the CBC Toyota Searchlight contest.
Anna made the top 10 with her original song Goodbye. It is the same song that won her the BBBS Big Night In hosted by Greg Morton. Anna B. released a statement on social media thanking everyone for the support.
"Hey everyone, unfortunately I did not make it to the top 5 but am beyond blessed to have gotten where I did. Thank you so much for all the wonderful support and congrats to the top five! Keep on he look out for more of my music on the way!
Anna B. is the youngest person ever to reach the top 10 of this contest. She beat out 2,500 other artists for the honour.
