A second case of COVID-19 has been reported at Winchester Street Public School in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Another case of COVID-19 has been reported at Winchester Street Public School.
There are now two active cases of the virus at the Woodstock school. Contact tracing is underway and the TVDSB has no plans to close the school at this time.
Those who may have been exposed to the virus will be told to self-isolate for two weeks. This means if you don't receive a letter from the school board your child is not considered to be at risk.
The TVDSB is also reporting new cases of the virus at Central Public School in Woodstock, Northridge Public School in London and Central Elgin Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas. Northridge and Central Elgin Collegiate will remain open at this time, but the school board has decided to close Central Public School until after the April Spring Break.
You can find a list of all the active cases within the TVDSB online here.
