Another four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 at the Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence have passed away. The LTC Home has now had 8 residents die since an outbreak was declared on October 27th.
STRATFORD - Another four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 at the Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence have passed away.
There have now been 13 deaths in Huron-Perth associated with COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic earlier this year. 8 of those deaths have been residents at Cedarcroft.
Over the weekend 10 residents at Cedarcroft were taken to local area hospitals, including Woodstock and Ingersoll. As of this morning 44 residents at Cedarcroft have tested positive, of those cases 34 are still active and they have had 4 recoveries.
18 staff members have also tested positive and 13 are still listed as active with 5 recoveries.
Physicians under the direction of Huron Perth Pandemic Leadership continue to assess and identify residents that may potential be moved due to staff capacity at Cedarcroft.
