OXFORD COUNTY - Relay for Life is an event all about fighting cancer.
Oxford County has participated once again this year.
Members of the public from all over Oxford got together to help raise money.
Hailey Parliament, Community Fundraising Specialist for the Canadian Cancer Society;
"We keep our donations today open until the end of August, so the money continues to roll in and we're looking forward to a successful event."
She says there are multiple ways you can donate.
"The easiest way to do it is probably online at relayforlife.ca/woodstock and if you know someone who is participating or a team that is participating you can donate to those people specifically or you can donate to the event in general and that's all on the website."
So far they have made just over $130,000. The original goal was $125,000.
