Members of the public are welcome to stop by an autumn open house at Wildwood Conservation Area this afternoon.
ST. MARYS - The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is hosting an open house at Wildwood Conservation Area today.
They will have lots of autumn themed activities on tap; including a self-guided forest hike through the forest, a scavenger hunt, wagon rides, a campfire and cider in the Visitors Centre.
Superintendent Paul Switzer says it's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
"We are inviting everyone to join us for a healthy hike and the opportunity to see Wildwood Conservation Area during this beautiful time of the year. Wildwood offers 30 kilometers of meandering trails for hiking and biking."
They're also encouraging people to step into nature by snapping a fun selfie or nature image and posting it on social media using #HealthyHikes and #StepIntoNature.
The fun will begin at 1 p.m. and wrap up at around 4 p.m.
