Angelcare Monitors can pose a risk of strangulation to infants
There's a recall of baby monitors in Canada and the US, due to the potential risk for strangulation.
Angelcare movement and sound baby monitors, made by Angelcare Monitors Inc. has been recalled after two deaths in the US.
Babies have become entangled in the monitors' cords that are attached to a sensor pad that rests underneath the mattress.
There have been no reports of deaths or injuries in Canada.
