An e-mail is circulating supposedly from Canada Revenue Agency. But do not respond to them! MP for Oxford, Dave MacKenzie is alerting the public that this e-mail is requesting personal information on credit cards in order to receive your refund. MacKenzie says he immediately recognized it was not an e-mail sent by the CRA. "The return email address isn't consistent with the government of Canada's email address. My concern is that people who see will think it's legitimate, it would appear legitimate, but it certainly isn't. And we've confirmed with the Canada Revenue Agency that they don't send out that kind of an e-mail to start with." MacKenzie says to delete the e-mail and don't respond. You can confirm with Canada Revenue at 1-800-959-8281.
