There's over 100 items up for grabs in the online auction, and all of the proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - The annual Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County auction is back.
Bid for Kids' Sake launches today at 9:00 a.m. with over 100 items to bid on. There will be something for everyone including Toronto Blue Jays tickets, excursions, food, and lots more. Executive Director, Kristen Ralph speaks to how great this event is each year.
"Bid for Kids Sake brings together the best parts of community giving: it’s simple to participate, fun to follow, and full of amazing items people will be excited to bid on. There’s definitely a little friendly competition, but behind every bid is something much bigger: support for local children and youth. Every dollar raised stays in Oxford County and helps Big Brothers Big Sisters continue providing free programs to close to 700 young people each year."
There is a feature on the auction website, which allows people to sext proxy bids on items you are interested in, and also allows you to set your max bid on those items. Once the max bid is set, the website will continue to bid up to the maximum if you get outbid on an item. You can increase the max bid at any time.
If you would like to see what items are available in the auction you can click here. The bidding closes this Friday at 4:00 p.m..
