A bike safety course is coming to Ingersoll to help kids aged 4 to 12 become more aware when on their bicycles.
INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll has safety at the forefront.
A Bike Academy will be starting on Wednesdays this summer. Program Supervisor for Community Services, Brooke Ventnor, explains.
"We have started this new program. It is for children ages 4 to 12 to sharpen their bike safety skills on a bike rodeo course."
Ventnor says there are two sessions, at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
"The program does run from July 16 through to August 27, so any Wednesday morning at that time, meet us out front of Victoria Park Community Center by the sliding doors and we will get started."
Ventnor mentions that if your child is interested but does not have a bike, you can call the Victoria Park Community Centre's front desk team for information on their bike giveaway program.
