The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock is hosting their annual Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser.
WOODSTOCK - There are lanes still open for the upcoming Bowl For Kids Sake fundraiser.
People will get together with friends and family and head to C&D Lanes for the annual bowling event, supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters' of Woodstock.
Marketing and Fund Development Coordinator Liz-Wismer Van Meer says it's shaping up to be a fun event.
"Some of our local manufacturers come out, they put a few teams in. They kind of leave it up to their employees to create their teams and sometimes they have a few friendly challenges between each other, but they come out. It's kind of a nice team-building event for those businesses."
Van Meer says they get a lot of support from the public and local businesses in the community. She says it's a fun event for everyone to attend.
"It's really just fun. One of those nights that you get to go out with some of your co-workers, relax, you get to dress up. This year our theme is Fandemonium so people are kind of going with the sports theme, but really it can be whatever you're a fan of."
Lanes and times are still open for you and your team to register.
The event will be happening at C&D Lanes on February 6th, 8th and 9th. Proceeds will go towards BBBS mentoring programs and services.
