Housing, long term care and waste management were the most flagged items in this years Budget Survey.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council was able to look over the results of their latest Budget Survey.
A total of 655 residents responded this year; which is up 10 percent when compared to 2017.
Warden David Mayberry says the results were nothing out of the ordinary.
"The perennial 'we want you to keep the taxes down' which you read with a great deal of respect because it's an indication of people sense of their security. Other than that I feel there was a lot of general 'make sure you're being good stewards with the dollars.'"
Mayberry says county staff will consider the result as they prepare the budget for next year.
"Having that reminder as you're going into the budget season, that these are real people with real concerns that we're hearing from is always a good lesson and I am glad people took the time to tell us."
About 40.5 percent people feel they receive great value out of their tax dollars.
Long term care, waste management and housing were the most flagged areas for improvement.
