Handmade jewellery and crafts will be on sale at the Crafts Bling and Things event all in support of rescued animals, and if you are considering adopting a new pet, they are over overwhelmed and at capacity with kittens right now.
WOODSTOCK - Oxford County Animal Rescue will be hosting their annual Crafts Bling and Things in support of rescued animals.
Their handmade jewellery and crafts sale Crafts Bling and Things will offer warm cider treats, and a silent auction with many items on the table, there will also be a penny sale and you can bring a cat or dog toy to choose a handmade ornament from their tree.
Anna Holmes from Oxford County Animal Rescue says they will also be hosting an off site adoption with PetSmart to give kittens a home in time for the holidays.
"We've got more kittens that will be vetted out in the next couple of weeks and they'll be up for adoption as well, another thing we're doing is a special off site adoption weekend with our partner PetSmart so December 14th and 15th we will have kittens there, so what we're hoping to do is have them home for the holidays, kitten season isn't slowing down this year every rescue in the area is overwhelmed and at capacity with kittens right now so these events are helpful to us."
Crafts Bling and Things will be held at the shelter on Dundas Street, December 7th from 10 AM to 4 PM, and the kitten adoption weekend will go from December 14th to 15th at PetSmart.
