A Norfolk County resident is facing one charge after the OPP responded to a weapons call.
DELHI - An individual has been charged in connection with an investigation into a weapons-related incident in Delhi.
On Sunday, just after 10:45 a.m., members of the Norfolk County OPP responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting the use of a weapon at a property on Charlotteville Road 11. The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals, during which one person discharged a weapon toward the other individual's property. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 41-year-old from Norfolk County is facing a charge of Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The suspect will appear in a Simcoe courtroom in September.
