Oxford County Council will consider stretching the 60 km/hr speed limit just west of 31st Line.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford County Council is about to consider a speed limit adjustment for the community of Harrington.
Oxford Road 28 from 31st Line to 33rd Line is currently classified as a Community Safety Zone with a speed limit of 60 kilometres per hour. During today's meeting, council will look over a report that suggests extending that speed limit just west of 31st Line.
A sand and gravel pit was recently approved for the area, so there are some concerns about increased truck traffic.
Today's council meeting will get underway at 9:30 a.m. and it will be livestreamed through the county's website. You can also find the agenda for the meeting online here.
