NORWICH - A traffic complaint leads to charges in Norwich.
The Oxford OPP responded to Highway 59 and Potters Road yesterday morning at 1:00 a.m. after the complaint of a possible impaired driver. A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver took off, and was later found at a business in Norwich.
As a result, a 24-year-old Cambridge resident is facing charges of flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation, and operation while impaired with a blood drug concentration. The driver was also given a 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
They will be in a Woodstock Courtroom next month to answer to the charges.
