The Ingersoll Rotary Club has taken over the building, thanks to a deal with General Motors.
INGERSOLL - The old CAMI gymnasium will become a community warehouse, thanks to a new agreement between General Motors and the Ingersoll Rotary Club.
In a statement on Facebook yesterday, Club President Adam Funnell said local user groups that try to address food insecurity and other social issues will be able to use the warehouse once it opens this summer. The renovations should begin this spring.
A Information Session will be taking place at the seniors centre adjacent to the building on February 20th. It starts at 1:30 p.m. and it's for the local groups that are interested in utilizing the warehouse once it's complete.
