Folden's Ella Shelton and Team Canada is just one win away from guaranteeing themselves a medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Canada has booked a spot in the semi finals in women's hockey at the Beijing Olympics with a 11-0 beat down of Sweden this morning.
Canada found the net early, scoring 3 minutes into the game and didn't look back. They managed to kill off two penalties and then scored four more times in the first period, taking complete control the game.
Brianne Jenner and Sarah Fillier each scored hat tricks in the win.
Foldens Ella Shelton was held off the score sheet in this one, but played solid defense for the Canucks.
The other quarterfinal matchups happen tomorrow with Russia going up against Switzerland and Finland takes on Japan.
Canada has already beaten three of those teams, they have not played Japan yet.
The way the tournament is set up, they would not play the US until the finals.
