WOODSTOCK - A cash donation drive is happening at the Giant Tiger in Woodstock today for Operation Sharing.
They will be collecting money at the store from 8 am until 8 pm today. Operation Sharing is in desperate need of donations as they continue to provide the same services during the pandemic. They continue to operate the Inn, Oxford County's only homeless shelter. Normally the Inn would receive food donations from local restaurants. However due to the pandemic they are relying on the staff at Bullwinkle's to make all of the meals as donations from restaurants are understandably down.
Bullwinkle's is making this food in addition to operating a takeout service for anyone who needs it during their regular hours. Operation Sharing is also noticing more and more people signing up for the Food for Friends program, so any donations are greatly appreciated.
The drive is sponsored by the Brant and Oxford Property Guys and Steve's Auto on Juliana Drive.
