STRATFORD - Stratford Police say the cat involved in viral case of animal abuse is doing just fine.
Police were called on Friday after several people complained about an Instagram video that showed a cat being abused. An 18 year old from Stratford was arrested because of the video about an hour after police received the complaint.
The Stratford Humane Society attended the home and took the cat to a Veterinarian, where, thankfully, the cat was found with no injuries.
The accused was later released from custody with a court date of April 29, 2019 and was placed on conditions not to be in the possession of any animals. The full identity of this male cannot be provided at this time as his charges have yet to be sworn to in court.
