There will be lots of fun events in Burgess Park tomorrow for the Celebrating Natural Connections events series. This is a partnership between the UTRCA and the City of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) and the City of Woodstock are partnering together to bring the Celebrating Natural Connections events series to the Friendly City.
The series is intended to commemorate the continued efforts of frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and to celebrate natural spaces and their effects on our physical and mental health.
Several activities will be available for free tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Burgess Park in Woodstock. This includes guided hikes led by the Woodstock Field Naturalists Club and UTRCA environmental education staff, wildlife demonstrations with Sciensational Snakes, a Wildlife Gardening workshop, an Oxford EarlyON Story Stroll, displays, and more!
More information on the event series can be found online here.
