The Woodstock Police have laid numerous charges after someone suffered serious burn injuries during an altercation.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after an altercation in Woodstock.
On April 20th, the Woodstock Police, Woodstock Fire Services, and Oxford County Paramedics responded to a residence on Finkle Street after reports of someone suffering from burn injuries. The investigation determined that a group of people were at the residence when an altercation took place, and one person threw a flammable substance at another person and ignited it, causing serious injuries.
Woodstock Police took a 44-year-old Woodstock man into custody on April 25th, and he is facing four counts of Possession of Fire, Ammunition or Explosive Substance Contrary to Prohibition Order, Aggravated Assault, and Arson - Causing Bodily Harm.
The suspect remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
