The 'Reduced Load Campaign' laid over 10 charges as well as issued warnings during a blitz in South-West Oxford.
SWOX - Oxford OPP and OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) are in the middle of their ‘Reduced Load Season’
OPP and TIME conducted enforcement in the Township of South-West Oxford which resulted in 17 charges laid and 13 warnings issued.
The charges laid include overweight vehicles, operating a vehicle with load not secured as prescribed, improper brakes on trailer, misleading safety mark and failing to accurately complete daily inspection report.
Police want to remind drivers that traffic safety is everyone's responsibility and are using this campaign to stress the importance of driving according to the weather and road conditions.
The campaign runs until April 30th.
