Residents of Oxford County can share their methods of dealing with climate change in a survey.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County is considering climate action.
From now until August 8th, residents can share their thoughts on how they contribute to reducing the environmental impact on the climate. Results from the survey will help develop Oxford County’s first Climate Action Plan, expected to be released this fall. Those who take part in the survey will have a chance to win one of five $50 gift cards for a local business.
The climate action plan for Oxford County is being worked on with guidance from the Ontario Provincial Climate Change Impact Assessment, which outlines the wide-reaching impacts climate change has on communities, critical infrastructure, economy, and the natural environment.
The survey is available on the Speak Up Oxford website.
