(WATCH) Six year old Callan Perks of Lakefield gave the day time talk show host a motivational speech that brought her to tears.
Coach Cal visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday and the six year old from Lakefield did not disappoint.
Callan Perks became an Internet sensation after winning a contest with the Petrology Pete's. Callan was one of 10 kids who signed a 10 day contract in November with the team. He was given the chance to give a pre-game speech to the Pete's and the 6 year old did not disappoint.
From that moment on, he was simply known as Coach Cal. The video gained traction all across North America and eventually caught the attention of producers for the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Coach Cal and his family got to fly out to California for the show and his episode aired yesterday. Coach Cal did not disappoint explaining the Ellen the key to writing a good motivational speech and why he always like to think positive and why he includes get the W in every one of his motivational speeches. Coach Cal also delivered a beautiful motivational speech for Ellen, which brought the daytime host to tears.
