Local volunteer, non-profit and charitable organizations can apply for financial assistance from the city of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is currently accepting applications for the fall intake of the community grants program.
Local volunteer, non-profit and charitable organizations have until 4:30 p.m. on September 1st to apply, but they have to detail what they would do with the money and how it would benefit the overall community.
The application can be found online here or you could pick up a paper copy at City Hall.
Once all of the applications are in, special committee will look over all of them and determine the list of recipients that will be brought to city council for approval.
The city distributes community grants twice a year; once in the spring and once in the fall. It uses the funds the city receives from the OLG for hosting the Gateway Casinos.
