A call to police about a possible impaired driver leads to both a traffic stop and charges for a 38-year old Woodstock woman.
THAMES CENTRE - A traffic stop on the 401 leads to charges.
On Wednesday, at 11:30 p.m. Middlesex County OPP responded to the westbound lanes of the 401 in Thames Centre, after a call came in about a potential impaired driver.
At the scene, officers found the vehicle and proceeded with a traffic stop.
As a result, a 38-year-old woman of Woodstock has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
She will be appearing in court on Thursday, February 22nd to answer to the charges.
